wala wala!!!

I don't know if I talk about this place before but whatever. The Wala Wala is a pub in Holland Village close to Buona vista MRT station so 30min away from NUS. I went there on Monday, I think it's probably the 3rd or the 4th time I'm going there on a Monday.

Not because Mondays are specials but because on Monday a group is playing live music and they are quite good. Their particularity is that they play many famous artists: from Radiohead, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, to Coldplay and Norah Jones. One bassist, one guitarist, a drummer and a lovely singer. She's really nice and to quote Mark: "it's funny because the doesn't sound like a Singaporean when she's singing and though when the speaks to the audience she has this Singaporean accent". I really like this band and so do many people at NUS who are coming every Monday to listen to them (Abdul for example).

It really a nice place to hang out with friends, talking with nice music in the background and having fun asking fro songs we like. That's another particularity of this group, you can ask them any song and if they like it they play it. Don't ask for System of a Down though...
