Rugby time!!!

Saturday, or Sunday morning (here at Singapore), France is playing England for the semifinals of the Rugby World Cup 2007.

It's quite weird to talk about that today when everybody knows that France lost its ambitions and its French spirit in a boring match against a team of England who was far from its best level. I missed all the crazy atmosphere after the match against New-Zealand and "arrived" for the chute of a French team who even lost the match against Argentina for the 3rd place last Saturday.

Anyway, this is sport's rules and this is only sport afterall. I'm glad that South Africa won the World Cup because they deserved it (actually I'm more glad that England lost than anything else, f***** English). Ok I admit it I'm disappointed and I should stop talking about it once and for all.

Nevermind, we went to a pub to the Shijms (basically downtown) at 2am on Sunday to see the match. It was a great feeling to sing "La Marseillaise" surrounding by hundreds of French supporters (the pub was on a plaza outside, 3 big screens displaying the match). Especially in contrast with the deadly blank when Wilkinson scored , giving England the advantage before the end of the match 10min later...
