Petronas twin towers and skybridge
Petronas twin towers are the main attraction when you visit Kuala Lumpur. It's the second tallest skyscrapper in the world (Taipei 101 is the fisrt one) with 512m high. And the good thing is that you can go on it for free. Actually you are only allowed to visit the skybridge during 15min.
To get up there you have to queue for ages. The ticket counter is opening at 8:30am but be there more than 1h30 before if you don't want to queue for a too long time. We were there (ground level, in the Petronas Towers) at 6:00am and 30 people were already queuing...
We got our tickets and went to the skybridge after seeing a short movie about what Petronas Company brings to Malaysia (propaganda, propaganda...). It's quite impressive to be in a lift with 84 floors which goes up at the speed of 1floor/sec!!!! But once on the skybridge it quite disapointing.
It's only 157m above the ground (only a bit more than a third of the total high of the building, you the view is not really terrific...Cool to do only once in a life I think but that's all.
