Day 9: Lovina

Day 9 was the 18 of December and the thing I remember is that we were really glad to leave Candikuning for Lovina, to leave the humidity and the coldess and find (again) sun, blue sky, and warmer temperatures.
The night we spent in Candikuning was definitely one of the coldess I experienced since I arrived in Southeast Asia so therefore don't laugh at this picture even if  I'm doing it hahahaha:

So we took a taxi and headed to the North coast of Bali. We paid something like 250 000 Rp for a package to Lovina which included several stops on the way to see things such as Lakes Bratan, Buyan, and Tamblingan. We did another stop at Munduk to walk through the jungle and finally reach a waterfall which was nicer than the one at Git Git since it was far less touristy and also because our taxi driver was showing us the plants on the way. Spotting a cacao tree would have been impossible without him. We also had the opportunity to see pineapple "trees", Coffee trees, papaya trees, durian trees, mango trees, Jack's fruit trees, and clove (translate "clous de giroffles") trees.

Another great thing we did on the way to Lovina was to stop at AIR PANAS (direct translation is water hot). So I thing you understood what it was: a hot spring where we could swin into three different bassins..

We finally arrived in Lovina, checked-in at Sartaya (60 000Rp per double room), rented some motorbikes (40Rp until 11 am the next day) and went to Singaraya (direct translation is Lion King :)) which is the biggest city on the North coast of Bali before ending the day on Lovina's beach..
