Day 4: Nusa Lembongan

Nusa Lembongan is an island located on the east of Bali (between Bali and Lombok) and is in the North of Nusa Penida which is bigger.

To get there you can take a public boat from Sanur (if I'm correct one at 8:30am which cost 45 000Rp and another one at 10 000 that costs 60 000Rp). It takes about an hour and a half to do the crossing. The boats are quite local which theirs bamboo "sticks" on each side to maintain the equilibrium of the boat (apparently it's likely to move during the crossing but we didn't experienced it).

Once there we went to Bungalow number 7, the guesthouse I booked before going to Bali. Nice place, bungalows are cleaned. You can wake up, reach the terrasse in the front, climb down 5 stairs, walk 5 more meters and reach the sea (all of it takes about 1min if you're really awake). I could have decided to do not book anything because most bungalows like Bunga Bungalow or our place were almost empty in the tiem we arrived (beginning of December). After a really nice lunch (chicken cooked in a Banana leave and french fries cooked in cocunut oil) at the Sunset Cafe (in Bunga Bungalows) we rented some motorbikes (quite usefull to visit the other beaches in the southwest of the island) for 30 000Rp/bike (for less than a day since we arrived after 12noon but we didn't pay for gasoline and we could bring them back very late).

Then snorkeling: don't remember the price of it, sorry.. in Mangrove (a snorkeling "spot" in the North of the island accessible by boat) for an hour. It wasn't really unforgetable, actually so-so is better to be honest.

Finally we ended the day in Dreambeach and Mushroom Bay (20min in motorbike from Jungutbatu were are all the hostels) were we had dinner (bakmi goreng : fried noodles with chicken served with beef skewers).
