Singapore's nightlife

I'm discovering Singapore's nightlife almost every single day since I arrived. It's 2 in the morning and I just came back from double O. It's a club close to Clarke Quay and actually it was really nice. We went there for almost free: if you arrive to double O bar before 8pm and you buy a drink (S$ 6 for a coke and same price for a beer, I had the beer...) they will give you a stamp which is a free pass for double O club. This is how it works for boys, for girls it's much easier because Wednesday night is Lady's night (or "Girls nite") and everything is free for them. So basically you go there before 8pm then you go out to have dinner or be drunk at Insomnia (a bar where you pay S$ 20 to get open bar until 11pm) and finally you come back...

The club is really cosy, well decorated, there are some sofas and the music is far better than the one in Ministry of Sound. Actually MOS is a good place is you like heavy electronic music or seventies/eighties music whereas at OO you'll have House/dance mucic.

I really enjoy the night, the music, met some Americans and English girls, had some free glasses with Caroline and Sarah (you just a need to buy a big glass like S$ 3 for a screwdriver (vodka-orange), and then you can ask girls to put their alcohol from their tiny glass into your big glass). They use two differents types of glasses to prevent this kind of things to happen (like girls ordering a lot of glasses and giving them to boys).

It was really cool and I thing I'll come back. Singapore's clubs are nice but the only annoying thing was to pay for the cab to come back to Boon Lay (S$ 18 shared) and also that I have to wake up at 8am to go to class at 10am....
